Week of December 10, 2023— A week of dusting bookended by two warm weekends.
An interesting, meaningful, or weird thing daily

December 8, 2023, Friday— When the vegan goes away, the mice will scramble eggs. This is Rachel’s drill weekend, so I made the house stinky. 💛

December 9, 2023, Saturday— “What is that bird?” called the lady who feeds the Ferals of Fenwick. What? “Oh! A pileated woodpecker!” It could have pecked the bugs out of my tree, 10 feet ahead, on my side of the street.

Limbering up to go outside for a third romp. A 58° December Saturday.

December 10, 2023, Sunday— Hopefully, my last day of decorating the warehouse for light duty. I cut and taped up paper snowflakes.

December 11, 2023, Monday— The “frozen toes” walk with Rachel. I circled back sooner since crocheted sneakers aren’t windproof. CALYX statue at U of R.

Cozy night, noodles, veg and sauce.

December 12, 2023, Tuesday— Dusting for light duty. Taking a closer look at pallets.

December 13, 2023, Wednesday— Snow! Though, it was sunny at noon when I snuck out to Five Guys for boring-duty stress fries.

Sunny again. Kitty walk.

December 14, 2023, Thursday— Same. Same.

One more pallet stamp.

December 15, 2023, Friday— My day off, and Rachel done with a third of her program! Mendon, pizza and Hedonist ice cream (peppermint, chocolate chunk).

December 16, 2023, Saturday— Hanging up at Cobb’s.
