September 6, 2023, Wednesday—
A coworker with a Sardonic persona (though, he’s very funny) was laughing in the silent quiet break room. It’s been 90°+ this week, so everyone’s crowded exhaustedly in the air conditioned room.
“That’s too cheerful for 11 pm!” I fuss.
Tears in his eyes, he showed Tisha and I a Tik Tok of an old guy “singing” karaoke. It was a “what you think you sound like” meme, with Whitney Houston superimposed in the background, vs. what you sound like. This old guy just SQUEALING ha ha.
The next day, these quiet-natured guys took turns shouting at a Kansas City Chiefs vs Detroit Lions game. Weirdly cathartic.
Also, I’m moving to days soon. Thank the Goddess of … Boxes! (Pandora?)
Comic: It’s 1 pm, so I’ve got the daily grumpiness, for whoever knows why. I made this comic and don’t feel like sharing it. The upside is, I’m reading books (Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, by Gabrielle Zevin finally came in after like nine month’s wait).
