Hourly Comic Day 2023
At least I can’t oversleep

“Hourly Comic Day is an annual event that takes place on February 1st where participants draw one short comic for every hour that they’re awake.”
Fresno eats at 4:50 am SHARP.
First sun all week. It’s not the cold that gets me, it’s the cloudiness.
Still life with mini donuts. Patti Smith killed me at 9 am with her tribute to Tom Verlaine (Television).
“He devoured poetry and dark-chocolate-covered Entenmann’s doughnuts, downed with coffee and cigarettes. Sometimes he would seem dreamy and faraway then suddenly break into peals of laughter. He was angelic yet slightly demonic, a cartoon character with the grace of a dervish. I knew him then.”
—Patti Smith in The New Yorker
The donuts were my own d*mn fault.
We get one really good sunbeam in here, and it showed up today. 🖤
My friend Liz texted in the noon hour. She has been very obsessed with lavender and goats (milk, cheese) lately. Now, I see lavender and goats everywhere, in a book about monks, in kombucha, as a single carton of goat milk in Wegmans. What do you want from me lavender and goats??
Love her more than anything
I don’t think this is a spoiler? Every character has received and rejected love 200 times now.
And that was Wednesday. ❤️ 🐈⬛
