Wednesday, March 22nd, RICE will be co-hosting a comics workshop with Riso Club of Rochester – event details TBD.
Thursday, March 23rd, Gene Luen Yang will be speaking at RIT in the afternoon and MCC in the evening (please see attached flyer).
Friday, March 24th at 7pm at the Strong Museum will be the RICE Kickoff Event Comics Showcase featuring 10 comic authors reading from their work, more information here: https://wnycomicarts.com/rice-2023/2023-showcase/
Saturday, March 25th at 10 am (BEFORE the Exhibit Hall opens), graphic novelist Brian Yanish will be leading a children’s comic workshop in the Sibley building. Attendance is free, but registration is required, https://wnycomicarts.com/rice-2023/yanish-workshop/
